generally, there are two types of oil level sensors.
通常来说，有两种油量测量器

1. optical sensor. it measures the light transmittance by infrared light. due to the high deflection angle of air / oil, its very easy to determine the level. however, these sensors are extremely expensive and very unlikely to be used on bmw's
1.光学传感器，利用红外线，由于空气和油的反射角不一样，很容易就能确定油面高度。然而这种传感器太贵，宝马不一定会用。

2. floating sensor. they have internal floater and floater controls a potentiometer. i believe most bmw's use this type.
2.浮标传感器。就是有浮球控制的电位器。我相信大部分宝马用的是这种。

anything electrical sensors are less robust than mechanic dip stick. that why millions if not billions of bmw owners have converted to dipstick
所有电子传感器都不如机械油表尺来的可靠，所以成千上万的宝马车主改成了油表尺。

    第一箱油5000公里就该换了~之后的就是11000，不过机油这东西可以适当提前换，例如8000、7000，没坏处
