中期改款X3/X4的外观采用了更为现代化的设计语言，更犀利、更动感、更具视觉冲击力。

内饰采用了更有质感的现代内饰设计，中控屏幕升级为12.3英寸，中控区域也采用了宝马家族最新的设计语言。全系配备B48四缸发动机，25i车型184马力/300牛米，30i车型252马力/350牛米，宝马的动力表现和传动系统根本无需多言，有口皆碑。

先来说动力，新款X3M/X4M搭载了S58直列六缸涡轮增压发动机，动力数据上有所变化，普通版480马力/620牛米，雷霆版510马力/650牛米，匹配8速M Steptronic变速箱和M xDrive四驱系统，X3MC的百公里加速成绩为3.8秒。

新款X3M/X4M的外观、内饰相比普通版都有了更为性能化的进步，带有双辐竖条的双肾格栅、更加有力量感的下包围、恶魔耳后视镜、双边四出的排气、新型轮毂等等，车内的档把、和其他M相同的按键布局、M Mode和SETUP按钮，仪表盘等等，进化之处都很符合M Power的调性。
